Österlenchoklad in Skåne-Tranås

”Founded in 2004 and located in the old schoolhouse in the picturesque village of Skåne-Tranås, we are mostly known for our award winning pralines. Many of them with flavours inspired from the region and with selected ingredients from local producers. You will never find fruit purées or natural aromas in our pralines. For example, in our raspberry praline you will only find real raspberries, from the region. This is what makes our products unique and incredibly delicious. Our chocolate can be found at premium retailers all around Sweden and is served at some of the very best restaurants in the country.

We are also known for our bean to bar chocolate making through our sister brand Svenska Kakaobolaget (Yes, both brands are in the same building). As you may know very few chocolate factories actually make chocolate in Sweden. We are one of the very few bean to bar chocolate makers, sourcing our cacao beans directly from selected plantations around the world.  We make flavoured and origin chocolate bars that we proudly present to you as a part of our selection in the shop. When you visit, you will see cacao beans all around the factory and if you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of chocolate making in progress.

We also make a lot of other chocolate confectionary and edible goodies and they are all for sale in our factory store in Skåne-Tranås. In the factory store we follow the seasons meaning fresh chocolate strawberries in the summer and hot chocolate with cream in the winter. You can always enjoy a fresh cup of coffee with a delicious pastry in our factory café, and in the summertime we open up the garden.
